So, I suggest keeping your fruit in the pantry. Because it is cool and dark. Sometimes impossible to keep the Durian in the pantry due to its smell and the size of the fruit. Then you can keep it somewhere in the kitchen where that do not expose to direct sunlight.
Generally, keeping whole fresh Durian in a cool and dry place like a pantry will last about weeks. In addition to that, you can keep durian fruit in the refrigerator. Opened durians can keep fresh for up to about 5 days in the refrigerator.
Do you need to keep your Durian for a long time?

Freezing the entire durian fruit is possible. But it is difficult due to its large size. If you freeze the entire fruit, you definitely have to allocate the whole space of the freezer to store this large fruit.
Anyhow if you freeze the entire durian fruit, it will take a much longer time to freeze the fruit comple
